Energy Conservation Act (HECA)
HECA
was introduced in 1996 and placed a duty on Local Authorities to improve
the energy efficiency of their public and
private sector housing stock. In order to achieve the objectives of
HECA, our Centre works with Local Housing Authorities
to promote energy efficiency through education, advice & project
management. We provide assistance in developing energy
strategies and in collecting housing stock date for HECA progress reports,
via the Home Energy Report.
